Horse Trails-Why the Fraser Valley is the Best Place to Ride

For those of us who are lucky enough to live in the Fraser Valley, we are certainly aware of the tremendous beauty of our surroundings. We are also grateful for all of our great horse trails.

Life is rich with colour in the autumn on the lower mainland. Many of us love to get out in the great outdoors with our families. We breath the fresh air and get some exercise. We really do have the best of everything in the Fraser Valley.

Riding Stables

One of the great advantages of living in the Fraser Valley area is along with the abundance of farms and beautiful vegetation, we have many of the best riding stables in the world! We will focus on only three, because this is a blog. I could write a book on our riding community. Just know that there are many more ranches and stables than mentioned, located all over the valley. They offer many of the same outstanding services as those mentioned. We will have future blogs about other stables and equestrian centres in the future.

Langlee Acres

First of all, we will start with Langlee Acres. It is one of the featured riding stables/equestrian centres. The Lee family purchased the 28 acre property in 2003. They have a horse boarding business, Full boarding more than 50 horses, and also offering Self Board spots. They have a large 6 bay shop, 9 separate barns, an indoor lunging arena, a hot walker, a viewing lounge, 3 outdoor arenas, a 3 furlong track, and smail trails on the property.. These folks are here for a full range of equine interests. English and Western, lease and sell horses and even hold Derby’s. https://www.langleeacres.com/

Glen Valley Stables

If what you are looking for is an exciting horseback riding experience with an skilled guide, go on a trail ride through one of our most spectacular parks (Campbell Valley). You can choose a one or two hour guided trail ride. Glen Valley Stables is known for their well-trained, well cared for horses and their knowledgeable and helpful guides. Langley 204 Horseback Riding

Another wonderful stable is Langley 204 Horseback Riding. It is a family oriented riding stable that has been family run for over 20 years. Located in South Langley, directly across from Campbell Valley Park, the stable has been established longer than any other facility of its kind on the Lower Mainland. Because of that experience and record of safety, it speaks for itself! They offer trail rides, lessons, pony rides, leasing and regular rider packages. Their riding instructor has over 20 years experience and loves to share her knowledge of riding as well as her great love of horses. They offer English or Western style riding and have a variety of breeds of horses to suit every age, size and preference. If you are lucky enough to own your very own horse, they offer limited boarding and training services. http://www.langley204.com
