Our history dates back to 1975, when Claude and Inge Violet decided to start a ‘New World’ winery in Langley. After selling their winery and vineyard in France, the Violet’s went in search of the perfect climate, terrain, and location for their new winery in BC. In 1981,  they found the perfect 55 acre spot in South Langley. After lots of experimenting with different cool climate grape varietals they started planting in 1982. In 1991, the
