BC Buzz Honey

BC Buzz Honey

BC Buzz Honey is located at 6321 248 St. in Langley. First started in 2013 by Chris Davies and Kris Friesen, they have turned a small “working out of a shed honey company,” into a company on the rise. In 2015, the 2 Chris’s expanded the operation by adding a new production facility and 1 employee, Cody Graham; brought in to run the day to day operations and  do sales.  At this time BC Buzz had less than 25 stores retailing their honey. Today you can find BC Buzz products in almost 100 retail locations in the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Okanogan. As of 2018 BC Buzz Honey has expanded their production facility once again and have added another employee, Chad Craig, to work in outside sales and marketing.

Less Heat Better Taste and Nutrition

BC Buzz Honey strives to produce and deliver the very highest quality honey by using little to no heat in the extraction and bottling process. When heat is used it is never more than 95 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the same temperature as a healthy bee hive. As a result, this guarantees the customer is getting the best tasting, and most nutritious honey possible.

Amber in color with a rich fruity taste, it is a local honey that will help with allergies, hay fever and asthma.

Buckwheat Honey:

Our Buckwheat comes from Manitoba. Buckwheat honey is one of the most medicinal types of honey in the world. It is dark amber in color and has a rich robust taste similar to molasses.

Clover Honey and Creamed Clover Honey:

Our clover honey comes from  the Southern Nicola Valley region of British Columbia. Clover honey is the most common and abundant honey in Canada. It has a sweet and rich flavour but is also very neutral tasting making it perfect as a replacement for sugar in coffee or tea as well as cooking and baking. White in color with a wonderful sweet taste.

Dandelion Honey:

Our Dandelion comes from the Fraser Valley. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and mild diuretic and prebiotic properties. Wildflower Honey:

Our Wildflower honey comes from Grand Prairie Alberta. The taste and composition of wildflower honey can vary depending upon the variety of flowers in bloom at the time the honey is made. The potential health benefits of wildflower honey are many due to its nutrient rich content and anti-microbial properties. Light amber in color it has a very full rich flavour that can vary depending upon the flower source.

Other honey’s we have from time to time include:-          Mint Blossom, Borage, Corriander and Alfalfa.

Bee Pollen

Natures best kept secret: Bee Pollen is one of mother natures most completely nourishing foods. It contains all the vitamins and minerals that a human needs to survive, so you can replace multi vitamins with bee pollen. Bee Pollen is 40% protein in the form of free amino acids, which help to build muscle, burn fat, boost metabolism, increase mental alertness and give energy to the user. It is also, most certainly, good for allergies, hay fever, and asthma. Bee Pollen is the best supplement for athletes because it is all natural and the carbs and sugars contained in bee pollen are those that get used quickly by the body and don’t turn into fat cells.
